Those threads used to be more active a few months ago. A lot of regular posters have reduced their activity (myself includes)

The change to Piefed linked above is from 5 days ago, that’s probably why only recent posts show up.

Balance is important. I’m thinking about creating a seperate account and blocking all the political communities and filtering by keywords so I can just be here for hobbies and folks chatting when I want that

If you go that way, you need Google to even use Android.

It sucks, but until we get actual wide-spread Linux phones there’s not a lot individual consumers can do.

I keep an eye on the future Graphene phone with Motorola, but even then as long as the vast majority of users will use Android/iOS, banks don’t have pressure to support other systems.
