Speedrunners unfortunately use YouTube and twitch only. So it’s pick your cancer on that front.

Not that I have any skin of the game or what you’re saying, but his entire pitch is to build something that’s not an LLM
LeCun argues that most human reasoning is grounded in the physical world, not language, and that AI world models are necessary to develop true human-level intelligence. “The idea that you’re going to extend the capabilities of LLMs [large language models] to the point that they’re going to have human-level intelligence is complete nonsense,” he said in an interview with WIRED.
I forget the technique he’s going after but it’s supposed to be different from the regular LLM.
EDIT: if I paid more attention I’d see it’s in the article. World models.

Woof.
As a web developer. I can’t wait to get bug reports caused by this monstrosity.
That’s not even touching the maliciousness of this entire exercise.

I wish I could get an AI to hang out with my wife and kids so I could spend more time creating shareholder value.

I’d rather stop playing than have an AI finish it for me.

White collar jobs are gonna be exhausting for the next few years as rich people with zero consequences get this garbage out of their system.

Claude summarize this for me.

Do you go on an oncall rotation by chance? Because anyone that has to respond to night time pages would not be saying this lol.

Were they also into crypto 7 years ago?

We need to harness Desert Power!

"(1) Provide an accessible interface at account setup that requires an account holder to indicate the birth date, age, or both, of the user of that device for the purpose of providing a signal regarding the user’s age bracket to applications available in a covered application store.
Sounds like it’s a text box that enter input into. Making it completely pointless.

In essence, while the bill doesn’t seem to require the most egregious forms of age verification (face scans or similar), it does require OS providers to collect age verification of some form at the account/user creation stage—and to be able to pass a segmented version of that information to outside developers upon request.
So you just fake a date and call it a day… thank you Cali…
For real though I can’t imagine the sysadmin and docker nightmares that arise from having to completely overhaul your account orchestration scripts to input a garbage birthday.
I don’t think anyone thought of the fact that an account on an OS doesn’t always correspond to a human.

May not be the best place to ask, but I’d love to get into 3D printing.
What’s a good entry level printer that’s OSS friendly?
Was looking at Bambu but they are extremely closed source.

It’s probably more they don’t wanna get blamed if AI launches missiles because the idiots in charge pressed shift+tab and yolo’d.
Claude: “You’re right. I completely committed a war crime. I’m so very sorry! How would you like to proceed?”

“Im sorry Sylvia we’re going to have to let you go. You didn’t say ‘thank you’ enough.
It says here you were obsessed with someone named ‘Hank Ewe’. Absolutely deplorable. “
No wonder everyone on there is so pro AI.

If I was a director of AI safety I wouldn’t let openclaw within 100feet of anything. Let alone my work machine.
When I worked there 20% of the work we had to do had to go through a senior engineer. And getting his time was like pulling teeth.
More of the time he would just nitpick grammar in docs and then finally rubber stamp work. It was awful.
