Ukraine imports a major portion of its gas needs through Hungary, amounting to around 45% of all gas imports last year, according to Ukrainian energy consultancy EXPRO.

How do you know that we are not compromised to the point that we can’t identify corruption anymore? After the Iran war we don’t treat the US like we treat Russia. What if expelling Hungary would lead to a EU that is fully controlled by the US?

Because Europe is economically and militarily codependent on the US and they just need to wait for Trump to be removed next election. We are not codependent with Russia (not to the same extent) so we can threat them more harshly. But as we are cutting economic ties with Russia, we are also cutting investment to the US.

I doubt there will be a next election. That guy already tried a coup when he lost an election. Even if he himself is as dumb as a sack of bricks, his associates have learned from that coup’s failure.

Isn’t that fucking depressing? They are doing the same kind of bullshit, yet far too many see the us as a “good guy”. They certainly should be treated the same as russia

Agreed. Call me optimistic, but i think the public opinion is shifting towards an anti-US stance. Slowly, way too slowly If you ask me. But the tendencies are right.
