Microsoft has reportedly shared the names of Dutch civil servants working for two regulatory agencies with the U.S. House of Representatives. The agencies involved include the Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) and the Dutch Data Protection Authority (AP), according to an article published on Friday by Vrij Nederland.

Just use local or at least European tech please.
Yeah openSUSE is right there.
Hey, it takes time for governments to change.
My wife still uses Lotus Notes for her government job.
This. It will take years.
But even when trump has fucked off I believe the damage he has done is irreversible and the EU reliance on US tech is a thing of the past.
Well that’s my hope atleast haha.
It will take years because it isn’t a priority. If this were treated with the same urgency as a war, we’d have very impressive results within a year within the EU.
But we have too many people who are dependent on money from the US.
Here’s hoping the next oligarch puppet the America elect doesn’t try to smooth ruffled feathers with hollow promises and no actual actions or revoking the cloud act.
Fun fact: it is possible for governments to change quickly. Sometimes it even improves matters!
