    At the moment it’s not great as a desktop replacement, but that’s mostly because of Android IMO, which just isn’t great at that stuff at all. My hope is that some time into the future Linux for mobile improves to a point where it’s usable for me as a daily driver, then it might just be useful as a desktop replacement. Because here’s the thing: the FP5’s chipset can power two displays, and AFAICT if the internal display isn’t used, it can power two external displays - it’s just Android which doesn’t support it. If that’s the case, it could be quite the productivity machine on Linux.

      Mobile Linux is pretty usable. Pretty much the only thing I’m missing in Mobian is the patch that enables call audio routing, which will be there in a couple days or weeks at most.
