I just looked at this as I’m looking for a self hosted version, and Zulip has the same 10000 message history limit as the OP.

6·3 months agoI know that the article says that these entities all vow to “keep data storage and processing within national or European borders”, but how are they achieving that at scale?
Does this movement also apply to the underlying cloud-infra too? I don’t see any related info on the infrastructure part of this being moved away from AWS, Azure or GCP.
Mainly interested in how these organisations are going to solve this problem, as I’ve been working to do something similar myself… and it’s hard to be completely independent of these hyperscalers.
Do you think he’s self-aware (or even capable of introspection) enough to see that this is why they didn’t give it to him?
(Along with the litany of other reasons…)
