Yeah, but I think Elon shares the blame for making outrageous claims for years suggesting otherwise. He’s a liar and needs to be held accountable.

wtf is $330 millions for wrong crash accident anyway?
Maybe because someone died.
Look, we’ve only known the effects of radium and similar chemical structures for about a hundred years or so. Give corporations a chance to catch up. /s
“Ya gotta break some eggs,” or some shit. /s
We all have those days. No offense taken. Cheers!
No, it wasn’t clickbait because the article title isn’t clickbait. I just happened to have an opinion on a section that wasn’t in direct support of the title. I can call out a lack of proper attribution to the problem without the thrust of the article being inaccurate or deceptive. I can see why you take umbrage with it, but I think you’re chasing something that isn’t there. I just commented on a farcical take.
The fuck it was disingenuous. It’s the part of the article on which I had commentary. That it wasn’t the main focus does not say anything about my motivation to criticize people having the wrong take / solution.
Enterprises will love that. A perfect excuse to end wfh. However, this will cripple business travelers. I’m sure there’ll be some exception for corporations where they can exercise maximum control over their employees while still being allowed to generate capital.
Hey UK: suck it.
Thanks, I’m glad someone enjoyed it.
A demo that was open to the public (as in, not stage managed) where people could have the “agents” perform complex tasks without failing on a regular basis. Large training models are notoriously bad at anything they haven’t been trained to do. They’re worlds away from being able to interpret a new situation and “figure it out.”
That would impress me so much I’d die and come back to life.
This feels like a great time to recommend a song by a parody-hate band, S.O.D.: Kill Yourself.
Please understand that this band was formed by Scott Ian, of Anthrax, in the 80s. This was a time when you could mock hateful racists and people understood that it was a joke. I wouldn’t support a band saying that now, because I’d consider the excuse that it was a joke to be a front for their actual beliefs, as we’ve seen with people who are “just asking questions.”
Anthrax and Public Enemy teamed up on Bring Tha Noise because Anthrax liked rap. Aerosmith teamed up with Run DMC because their manager / producer / someone convinced them to. Anthrax was genuinely not about hate.
Bonus trivia: Scott Ian now plays with Mr Bungle. Just as S.O.D’s titular song was called Speak English or Die, Mr Bungle now plays a song called Habla Español O Muere (Speak Spanish or Die). If you can’t judge that the former was a parody by the evolution of the theme, I don’t know what to tell you.
Edit: formatting and more info.
I sent this link to a friend who’s really into internet radio (like CB used to be cool for nerds) who also loves to 3d print. He lives in a plains state, where this should work really well.
But it is from the article and therefore relevant.
I think it’s naive to believe that people aren’t naive.
I already stated that it only happened once at the start of the relationship. I trust my partner completely and she has never second-guessed me since.
If my partner could check my location at any time, how would I keep bday and anniversary gifts secret? The places where I go to buy things for her are not places I would normally go. She only has to randomly check one time when I’m at an unusual location for her to ask why and then I have to lie. Not worth it.
We use temporary sharing (can limit to one hour) when meeting somewhere. Beyond that, it’s a potential liability.
Example: she once got upset that I wanted to go to the mail room (apt building) alone and didn’t want her to go with me. She wanted to know what I was hiding. Turned out to be her bday gift and it was just in the commercial packaging with a shipping label. I let her go get it and she’s never been suspicious of my motives since (this was at the very start of our relationship and we hadn’t established the level of trust that we have now).
Anyway, again, the one-hour sharing is all we need.
This won’t win anything. This’ll just allow USA corps to allow their products to become as shitty as possible.
Thanks for responding to this with links so that I didn’t have to.
