The Israeli state at least, like the German Nazi state during WW2, does deserve to be destroyed. Palestinians have had a life of continual murder from advanced weaponry at the hands of Israelis, but even they still generally don’t want to kill every Israeli person.
All of the land occupied by Israel is stolen from Palestinians, they would be justified in wanting them out and their homes back. But if you ask them they generally say they don’t necessarily want to evict anyone, most of the average people there just want to live and have sovereignty.
They don’t need to pump anything up, there are mountains of atrocities commited by the US plain to see without the influence of ‘connoving foreigners’, that the Democrat party supports. The right is unified because of billions of dollars from US federal funds and other wealthy sources, psychological operations and material support for right wing groups globally, while constantly crushing any semblence of truly left wing dissent for decades.
I’m saying Machado who won the prize supports global fascist movements such as MAGA and Zionism. She dedicated her prize to Trump, they are friendly with each other. So I find it hard to trust her positions and the things she says. Whatever issues with the Venezuelan government I’ve seen don’t compare to genocide and fascism.
The person awarded the Peace medal supports Trump and has praised him bombing random Venezuelan boats and calls for further attacks within Venezuela, including requesting assistance from Israel. She has been goading for war for years.
What do you mean about numbers? The state and it’s guards are always massively outnumbered by the people, it’s just a question of organization.
Mass killings of civilians were committed against Germany and Japan, and those attacks are widely seen as war crimes, most reasonable people don’t argue that the average German or Japanese worker going about their day deserved getting firebombed. There were mass atrocities but they weren’t defeated by genocide, they were defeated by a military campaign that took out any capacity they had to wage war.
