I vaguely remember a dystopian book that described that exact thing as the protagonist thinking he was looking at an odd flag on the front of the truck until he realized what it was. Can’t remember what the book was though 😔

I think the phrase they are seeking is signal to noise. The bots make noise but bury the signal making it harder to actually find and communicate with others who are actually engaging. Weird how that works.

40 series Nvidia was still humoring the raster crowd. 50 they are literally providing tools to tell you what your “real” frame rate should be. It’s the same thing companies got burned at the stake for gaming benchmarks. This is what happens when you don’t have enough competition. The industry leader starts selling bullshit quality dives off a cliff.
