They are so afraid of some moderate reform restoring the country to it’s prior state to before 1971 when they entered into a conspiracy at the business roundtable to pervert and destroy the republic, that they will allow an all powerful leader that will destroy them one way and or another. Many are so old they don’t care, and many are religious nut jobs too so there’s that.
