Explore Meta's vision of personal superintelligence, where AI empowers individuals to achieve their goals, create, connect, and lead fulfilling lives. Insights from Mark Zuckerberg on the future of AI and human empowerment.
Zuckerberg learned computer programming in his childhood. At about the age of eleven, he created “ZuckNet”, a program that allowed computers at the family home and his father’s dental office to communicate with each other.[10] During Zuckerberg’s high-school years, he worked to build a music player called the Synapse Media Player. The device used machine learning to learn the user’s listening habits, which was posted to Slashdot[11] and received a rating of 3 out of 5 from PC Magazine.[12]
okay. his background in CS remains a couple of classes before dropping out. i graduated from college around when he would have and this was every fucking CS major their freshman year. he talks about programming the same way every revolutionary code messiah who had coded some mildly impressive utilities does before they spend time studying the theory behind computation and learn what the real limitations of these things are. but VCs love the code messiahs. hence SVB going bankrupt. none of these dudes are as smart as they’ve convinced the rest of the world they are
At least use Wikipedia before talking nonsense.
Oh, so then he did already establish what superintelligence is.
(I miss original Pandora)
