In a side note, why is venmo blocked by ublock with the fileter easyprivacy or something like that and paypal isn’t? Also I do not use these stuff for anything else I do not even have an account for all I know. Also what kind of information does it store? Just what you buy? because I don’t think them knowing I bought monero will be that useful to them.

It wouldn’t defeat the purpose right?

    Venmo is privacy intrusive and has minimal security. PayPal at least has reasonable processes and requirements in place. PayPal is registered as a bank and has to follow all the financial laws.

    In answer to your main question: no; despite what Alannis Morissette said, that’s not irony without more context.
