  • Many people have been saying this for the last 3 years and I still think the bubble burst is as inevitable as a future economy that is entangled with AI. The overhype is obvious and a course correction kickstarted by a crash just a matter of time. The stock markets will have a very bad time before governments step in and waste our taxpayer money to give handouts to the super rich. But hey, at least big tech has to try regaining our trust and lie a little less obviously about their AI products for a while so it won‘t be all bad I guess? /s

  • Sorry, I really don‘t mean to be rude or hurtful, but from all I‘ve seen and I mean ALL I‘ve seen Chinese consumers have no taste whatsoever. Yes, their manufacturing has become great if they actually care about something but this argument is not about stability. What I mean is the more a company relies on the Chinese market and tailors their commodities abd luxury products around Chinese consumers, the uglier they become. Just look at European cars lately. Hideous. So yeah sorry again but I take that as a seal of quality for Apple‘s UI design.

  • To be fair and I say that as a lifelong gamer: That‘s hardly one of my biggest concerns. I‘ve experienced ridiculous pricing policies in both software and hardware over the last couple years, preventing many of us to get their hands on the latest tech. Like, I will never own a high end computer. But I will also likely never own a house.

What I‘m trying to say is, gaming has been in an awkward spot for a very long time and it‘s still… fine. Paradoxically it‘s cheaper than ever to have a good time with games and the choices are endless even on a tiny budget. It‘ll be fine. We‘re facing much bigger problems in other areas right now.
