finally a SUV. i thought i had to wait forever to get an electric SUV. i always tell my wife: “wife, we need a bigger SUV for our narrow streets. if only someone would produce an electric SUV. sadly all we can buy are affordable normal sized cars 😡.”

The size of SUVs in Europe is getting out of control! I swear most of them wouldn’t even fit on the streets in my hometown! Even worse, it’s becoming dangerous to own a normal car because, if you get in an accident with one of these SUVs, your car’s safety features will be completely overwhelmed by these monstrosities.

I also hate how they completely block the view beneath them, because in addition to being huge, they have small windows and usually tinted.

Driving a large vehicle by itself shouldn’t be a huge deal, what worries me is how fast the driving behavior is worsening: both as a driver and a cyclist, I see my share of appalling situations…

There were a few around here where the edge of the trunk in the back were at the same height as my neck. If any of this shit hits me I die instantly. Pretty great being an adult. I have no idea what kind of nightmare fuel it gives the kids.

It’s the prison-yard mindset: dominate or be dominated. And if you drive a compact car (or even yesteryear’s once-oversized SUV) while everyone else is getting a bigger, more intimidating SUV, you’ll be bullied off the roads at best.

But that is Freedom. Since the days of St. Ronnie, it has been accepted that the only morally justified basis for society is cutthroat competition, and any kind of cooperation or positive solidarity would be Godless Communism.

Finally, just what we needed. Another SUV. I’m tired of the market being flooded with compact electric cars that are good value for money. We need more child crushers!

I’d love to get a station wagon again, but there is no Subaru Outback in electric and cars like the Opel Astra Tourer scrape going across the drainage dips on some of our forest roads. So one of those mobile wardrobes it is, unfortunately.

The outback is coming back as an electric vehicle, at least In Europe. It is based on the solterra/bz4x but as a wagon.

Yes, but its just going to be the bz4x Touring rebadged. Not a bad car but not exactly a lifted station wagon anymore.

Why a Leapmotor? Seriously Stellantis owns Fiat, Citreon and Peugeot. They should have a cheap electric SUV around anyway, without going to the Chinese.
