      He profits just fine. The companies not so much.

      Except NVIDIA, they’re making shovels and shitloads and he probably gets something under the table from them too.

    Doesn’t Elon do the same thing such as when SpaceX bought a fleet of Cybertrucks?

    Just sounds like how the rich move wealth around to stay/look wealthy.

      Even if proven and convicted, none of these rich fucks will ever see any consequences beyond a slap on the wrist fine – almost certainly a fine much smaller than the profits they made through this fraud. And then, just out of spite, they’ll appeal it in a higher court and get the fine reduced or tossed out entirely.

    It’s surely not self-dealing. It’s his AI that does business with those companies, not him, so it’s all legal.
