Police don’t need to be individual assholes, if they follow illegal orders and are protecting their colleagues when they commit crimes the outcome is all the same. Their personal motivation behind it is irrelevant.

Nordic as in Sweden, Norway or Finland no. I saw it mpre broadly as Northern Europe, including Austria as that’s what the article is about.
