My methods have resulted in the better part of 2 dozen positive results. Not a great percentage, but better than 0. Emotions work much better than logic with these people, despite my objections to that.

This man, by his own admission, took his daughter into his bedroom to “try to reconcile with her,” and somehow in the next 15 minutes his pistol, which was in his bedroom not a common room of his, presumably ranch/rambler style home, appeared in his hand. At some point the Glock handgun that he owned “went off,” on its own accord, as he claims he didn’t have his finger on the trigger. If this gun were not a Glock, I might believe that. Glocks don’t have hair triggers. You have to squeeze with your entire hand to pull the trigger on a Glock, and they don’t go off accidentally.

Beyond all of that, no responsible gun owner has their guns loaded at all times. I grew up all over but spent a lot of time in IN, KY, PA, and OH. I met a LOT of militia members thanks to my friend’s parents. These people keep guns. They also may have some ammo. The guns and the ammo aren’t laying around combined, they aren’t even in the same safe.

This man knowingly committed premeditated murder on his daughter by even touching his gun while he was inebriated. The fact that he got away with it is just an indication of how broken our punishment system is.

They don’t see themselves as a cult. You calling them a cult just allows them to ignore everything else you have to say. You have to meet them with their own doublespeak if you want to break the cultish brainwashing, and force them to question themselves.

Antagonistic conversion will only entrench their beliefs. The way you have to deradicalize them is to earnestly question things until they can no longer deny the hypocrisy and doublethink/ doublespeak.

Remember who you were when you were 2 years old, and “why” was the greatest question in the world, but force them to provide receipts. Make them explain the joke that you “innocently” don’t understand. Make them say the quiet parts out loud, because you “don’t understand.” Either they will deradicalize themselves, or they will stop talking to you permanently.

In the last year that has skyrocketed to around or over 60 people dying in a single year (2025). In 2025 60 people died in ICE custody. In 2026 they have gunned down, directly murdering in public as opposed to in custody, 2 people before they took them into custody, THAT WE KNOW OF.

It’s dragon sickness. Seriously. In all of high fantasy, there is exactly one dragon that has more than $1,000,000,000, when the story or setting was created. His name is Smaug. That gigantic pile of good and treasure amounts to somewhere between $10,000,000,000 - $15,000,000,000. In every other story or game, all the dragons (except of maybe one single Red dragon) have less than $1,000,000,000 in gold. (Admittedly the price of gold isn’t helping here)

RAW: all other types of dragons have less wealth than Red Ancient Wyrms. A Red Ancient Wyrm will have between 1,000,000 to 5,000,000 gold pieces worth of wealth. We’ll assume they are a Philistine, and all their wealth is in gold. That means that one single Red Wyrm per world might have somewhere around 500,000 oz of gold. Currently that much gold would be worth just over 2 billion dollars, but again that is the extreme statistical outlier of the literal greediest and most evil type of dragon.

Edit: oh and the worst part? The billionaires don’t have an excuse. If the evil dragons don’t hoard and eat their wealth just before they die, Tiamat / Thakisis will kill their soul. They literally take it with them. Our billionaires have no such rules governing them, they’re just mentally ill.
