I use Joplin through some WebDAV with my cloud provider, kDrive.

Works perfectly once set up.

I don’t know if you could make it work directly from your phone to your computer though.

While I agree that they aren’t likely to be on Lemmy, even outside of Lemmy, I’ve never met one of them.

I just know people who don’t know there is something else.

Still it’s good for me to have to use (a debloated version) Windows at work, as it allows me to still know how to deal with it.

I guess I’m not techie enough to meet these people as I’m just talking to windows end users.

I guess because no one is passionate about it. It’s just something people are using because it came with their computer.

Here people are almost only talking badly about it. It’s not a good product but I wonder if it’s as bad as people on Lemmy make it sound.

Now I just have to solve the issues with Evolution, so its keyring issue and the fact that it deletes the kWin rule every time.

What are the permissions you think I should change? In Fedora (Gnome) the same Flatpaks don’t show these issues with the default permissions.

I love Peertube, but I remember that finding an instance wasn’t so easy.

Still I wanted to try it, so I was ready to go through some difficulties, but most people would just give up.

I understand why Mozilla would want to keep the money coming from Google, but it might also be good for them to be less dependent from Google.

Nothing is preventing them from cutting deals with other search engines if they want to keep doing that.

It’s just a shame that these Macs will never be something I could buy when they become really cheap on the second hand market since you can’t upgrade the Ram or change the SSD.
