It sucks older Kindle model are ending it support has I have one of them. I don’t use the email ePub to Kindle and instead used Calibre which I know there’s a fork of it that doesn’t have the vibe-coding but I forgot the name of it.

Defective by Design has an Article about getting DRM-Free eBooks which I recommend checking there.
Sometimes, Humble Bundle will have eBook bundles which couple I brought are DRM-Free. Just make sure you check the details of the bundles as not sure if every eBook bundles would be like that.
