Going after the users is despicable behaviour. It’s the providers who are the ones committing copyright infringement.

More signs of desperation from an industry that has been circling the drain for 20 years.

If you would have read the article, you would know that they go after everyone involved. There is nothing wrong about going after the users, if you use an illegal service to do illegal things, you’re just as guilty as the provider.

Make sure to breathe in between deepthroating corporations or you’ll disable yourself.

Ai was built off the largest ip theft in history.

The rich steal from the poor, because there are no meaningful punishment for them, yet when the poor do it to them the full force of the law punishes them.

If you look behind the curtain, the wizard is just a man like you and me.

Well, people support it. In the end people are supporting their own doom.

YOU support the 2 tier system, believing anyone who breaks the law should be punished, but don’t hold your political and billionaire overlords to the same standard.

This issue was solved in the early days of streaming, if these parasites made an easy to access system at a fair price, no one would go anywhere else, people just want convenience at a fair price. But the parasite class wanna squeeze every cent out of people they can get, then the inevitable greed starts to seep in, enshittification, ads, and multi tier pricing, Picture quality locked behind payment tiers.

Now piracy which had a noticeable decline is back, it’s easier and generally a better experience figuring out and setting it up yourself with a one time hardware cost.

They arrested 304 people that were knowingly or ignorant they were being scammed. And they created a trace back to them. This doesn’t affect privacy focused people, because they don’t leave a trail of breadcrumbs.

So congratulations, Sky and authoritarians can use these idiots as propaganda to fearmonger people into being price gouged by your overlords.
