Y’all are missing the point of saying it’s not a resumption. Of course it is. But they have to lie. If they admit they’re resuming, it means they’re in violation of the war powers act by going past 60 days. I expect the next lie will be that actually, this is a totally new military operation and the clock has reset.
They were already in violation of the War Powers Resolution/Act when they started the war (not a defensive operation), but now they are even more in violation.

Neat thing about the war powers act is all the president has to do is tell Congress they need 30 more days to “wind-down” operations. Then they get 30 free more days to do whatever
And when they need to justify the war they claim we’ve been at war with Iran for 47 years.
Each lie is made for each argument or question they are addressing and does not need to be consistent with prior lies.
